Today is Remembrance Day 11th November 2016 when we remember those who have fallen in battle or who have been maimed in war.
The Sculpture FRANCE 1914 created by professional Sculptor Simon Burns-Cox in aid of PoppyScotland to mark the ending of The First World War and can be seen at The Peoples’ Palace Museum Glasgow. The six foot black and gold portoro Marble Sculpture will be on display until March 2017 and will then move to The Kelvingrove Art Gallery Glasgow for the year 2017-18 and The Riverside Museum Glasgow for the year 2018-19. At the end of the Exhibition, The Sculpture will be auctioned in aid of the charity. Expressions of interest should be made to Simon Burns-Cox or PoppyScotland.
