This sculpture is designed to illustrate freedom with the fish escaping from the rod. It is made from Scottish and Indian Marble with a white fin swimming through the yellow and green waters of the river. It is highly polished giving the sculpture a beautiful sheen.
The sculpture will be exhibited at The Scottish Sculpture Park at Caol Ruadh, Argyll, Scotland from Sunday 4th June to 1st October 2017. Open from Thursday to Sunday, Bank Holidays and Wednesdays by private apointment from 11am to 6pm. Admission: Adults £5.00 and Children under 16 are free. The garden has been undergoing extensive restoration and the title of this year’s exhibition is ‘Hortus Redux’ meaning ‘Restored Garden’.  Set in a spectacular 20 acre garden opposite the Burnt Islands on the Kyles of Bute, Caol Ruadh Sculpture Park exhibits and sells contemporary outdoor sculpture created by artists from around the world.  Throughout the summer, visitors can wander freely around the garden, among classical and abstract sculpture created in stone, wood, metal and organic materials by internationally renowned sculptors. The beauty of the garden and its ancient rocks, the dramatic views and soft sea light offer a setting unlike any other in Britain for outdoor sculpture.
