Description: The marble sculpture ‘FRANCE 1914′ by Simon Burns-Cox was made to commemorate the ending of The First World War in aid of Poppyscotland. It was designed to depict the last remaining tree on the battlefront but a symbol of hope. The sculpture has been on exhibited at The Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh in 2015 and then for a three year exhibition at the following venues:

The Peoples’ Palace Museum Glasgow 2016-17

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum Glasgow 2017-18

The Riverside Museum Glasgow 2018-19

At the end of the exhibition, the sculpture will be auctioned in aid of the Poppyscotland.
