Inscriptions in Arcadia

I have just completed some stone letter carving work for Audrey Grant, the artist, who has been working on her project  'Inscriptions in Arcadia' at Bothkennar Pools, near Skinflats for the Forth Valley Art Beat Project. This opens from the 3rd July to 31st August 2021. I was asked to carve the words 'Et in Arcadia ego' onto a stone wall at Barony Pit steam engine platform.

How much does a Memorial cost ?

All the headstones, gravestones, and memorials that I make are unique bespoke and handcarved individual pieces of work. When a client asks me how much it will cost, this will depend on the following factors: On average a small single plaque or headstone will start from about £1500 upwards depending on requirements. Installation and cemetery costs are at an additional cost. Consultations and designs can be done online.
