The marble sculpture ‘FRANCE 1914′ by Simon Burns-Cox has been created to mark the centenary of the ending of The First World War in aid of PoppyScotland. The sculpture has been on a three year exhibition tour at The Peoples’ Palace Museum, The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and The Riverside Museum Glasgow. After the centenary celebrations, the sculpture will be auction in 2019 in aid of PoppyScotland. Expressions of interest should be made to PoppyScotland or Simon Burns-Cox.

Sunday 11 November 2018 marks the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice. The day will recognise the significance of the end of the First World War, and the sacrifice made by so many men and women during this period.
